Steven Paul Jobs or mostly known as Steve Jobs were an American information technology entrepreneur and also invented. He also was the co-founder, chairman and also a chief executive officer (CEO) of Apple Inc. Other than that, he also the CEO and majority shareholder of Pixar Animation Studios. He also a member of the Walt Disney Company’s board of directors following its acquisition of Pixar and also a founder, chairman and CEO of NeXT Inc. Jobs is widely recognized as a pioneer of the microcomputer revolution of the 1970s and 1980s along with Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak.
A failure is an option for Steve Jobs because during his school time he had been dropped out of the college. But it didn’t’ make him down, in fact, it was the beginning of the Apple empire. Jobs and his friend Steve Wozniak who was the co-founder of Apple were credited with revolutionizing the computer industry by democratizing the technology and making any types of machines smaller, cheaper, intuitive and accessible to consumers. However, he has suddenly been fired out from his own company that he had built into a billion-dollar just because he had revolutionized personal computing and also created an iconic brand. After being fired out from his own company, Steve felt that all the things that had been the focus of his entire life were gone and it was devastating. He also assumed himself as a public failure. But as a failure is an option for Steve Jobs and he learned that he had found a new company which was named NeXT Inc. This company has then been acquired by Apple. Steve then back again to Apple. Once back at Apple, Jobs proved a capacity for greatness by reinventing the company’s image and taking the Apple brand to a new height.
As a conclusion, Steve Jobs had a meteoric rise, a humbling fall and after all that things he came back with triumph after triumph and driving this company to a new height and created the greatest corporate success of our time.

The entrepreneur who has shown the trait of “networked “is Mark Zuckerberg. He was born on May 14, 1984, in White Plains, New York. He is co-founder and CEO of the social-networking website Facebook, as well as one of the world's youngest billionaires. When he was in high school, he created an early version of the music software Pandora which called Synapse. In this way, he has been showed that his talent in making the software on the network. This makes several companies including AOL and Microsoft are interesting in buying the software and hiring him to be part of them before graduation. In this way, Mark Zuckerberg was starting making more networked entrepreneur in his business.

When Zuckerberg appeared on his Facebook Live Q&A, June 14, 2016, he told the viewers that he initially built the social network because he wanted to bring people at his college together, and if he had to start over today, he'd still be working on connecting people around the world. "That's really what I care about," he said, "making the world more open and connected." This has showed that he is not only having the trait of building network for himself but also building network for people all over the world.


Furthermore, Zuckerberg himself tries his best to build the right relationships with his subordinates. According to statistics, Facebook is the best company to work for in the U.S. – way better than Google. Cool perks and impressive salaries aside, it has great corporate culture. Employees are given autonomy their space and the leaders in the company make it a priority to connect with their employees. People can see him practically every day. He has even chosen to work inside a clear glass walled office where his employees can see him working. Even with his busy schedule, he is always accessible. He encourages interaction among everyone in the company by positioning himself with his employees’ level, not far above them.

Andy Berliner, co-founder, and CEO of Amy’s Kitchen, a leading producer of organic frozen foods distributed in health-food stores and supermarket. He identified a growing trend in America’s eating habits and pounced on it. Since its launch in 1987, the company has grown an average of 20 percent each year. Amy’s Kitchen makes more than 160 organic, vegetarian products; generates annual revenues of $270 million; and employs 1500 people in Santa Rosa, California, and Medford, Oregon.
             Andy Berliner showed he was an open risk taker when he uncovered that goldmine of an underserved niche market by had a trip to his local health- food store in search of healthy pre-packaged meals. He found that the food that brought were horrible and just simple leaving a bad taste in his mouth. Craving so much for healthy and tasty pre-packaged food, Andy decided to trust his gut and just start his business with selling his gold watch, using his wife’s car as collateral, and forging ahead at age forty. It showed that Andy Berliner brave to take risk and willing to have a try with sold his assets to increase his capital of business. He trust his gut, rather than relying on market research. In addition, another proven that Andy Berliner is an open risk taker is because he have the courage to start his business at the age forty although he knew that the risk is high.
            To exploit the competitors’ weakness and make it their company’s strength, he and Rachel decided to make sure all their brand’s meals were organic, vegetarian, and tasted great. After launching, demand for their first product climbed to more than 2,400 a day, which overwhelmed the production of capacity of their subcontractor. Andy decided to reinvent his company to the manufacturer. Andy and Rachel traveled to trade shows and made sales calls in person around the country, building their business through face to face meeting and getting noticed without expensive advertising. Andy started to reinvent his company to manufacture and it had proven that Andy Berliner be bold in making innovation and try new things even know that high risk existed.

In conclusion, Andy Berliner be brave to make innovation, keep trying although there is high risk existed, and willing to open the new market and forging ahead at age forty. This was the value that showing he was an open risk taker.

Intro to entrepreneur

The term of entrepreneur comes from the French word, “entreprende” which means a person that carried a responsibility or duty and try to do it as he or she can. (Richard Cantillon, 1755). While, based on Kamus Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka, the definition of entrepreneur means an entrepreneur is a person or a group of individuals that established or leads their own business and develop it from time to time for the prosperity of society and the country. McClelland (1961) expressed that entrepreneur is innovative and have high-performance requirements which also means a high need for achievement. An entrepreneur is required to mobilize economic resources to accelerate the process of economic growth. To be a successful entrepreneur, we must combine all the economic factors, take a risk, create and find a business opportunity with the aim to get profit, self-satisfaction, and prosperity of the society.

While entrepreneurship means, activity as an entrepreneur which can be defined as "the exercise of innovation, finance, and businesses in order to change and produce an innovation in goods and services in the economy”. According to Histrich and Peter (1988), entrepreneurship is a dynamic process which creates a large risk on equity, time and commitment to a career or the process of creating something new by taking into account the time and effort with regard to financial risks, psychological and social development and benefit from it. As for Kuratko and Hodgetts (2004), they define entrepreneurship as a process of innovation and creation through the four dimensions of the individual, the organization, the environment (environment) and the process, in collaboration with the network in government, education and institutional (institution).
