The entrepreneur who has shown the trait of “networked “is Mark Zuckerberg. He was born on May 14, 1984, in White Plains, New York. He is co-founder and CEO of the social-networking website Facebook, as well as one of the world's youngest billionaires. When he was in high school, he created an early version of the music software Pandora which called Synapse. In this way, he has been showed that his talent in making the software on the network. This makes several companies including AOL and Microsoft are interesting in buying the software and hiring him to be part of them before graduation. In this way, Mark Zuckerberg was starting making more networked entrepreneur in his business.
When Zuckerberg appeared on his Facebook Live Q&A, June 14, 2016, he told the viewers that he initially built the social network because he wanted to bring people at his college together, and if he had to start over today, he'd still be working on connecting people around the world. "That's really what I care about," he said, "making the world more open and connected." This has showed that he is not only having the trait of building network for himself but also building network for people all over the world.
Furthermore, Zuckerberg himself tries his best to build the right relationships with his subordinates. According to statistics, Facebook is the best company to work for in the U.S. – way better than Google. Cool perks and impressive salaries aside, it has great corporate culture. Employees are given autonomy their space and the leaders in the company make it a priority to connect with their employees. People can see him practically every day. He has even chosen to work inside a clear glass walled office where his employees can see him working. Even with his busy schedule, he is always accessible. He encourages interaction among everyone in the company by positioning himself with his employees’ level, not far above them.
